WHY CONVERSATION PRACTICE

LESSON STYLE
Relaxed Conversation With a Clear Purpose
The lessons are friendly and conversational, but they are not simply unstructured chatting. Sue uses conversation topics, questions, useful vocabulary, pronunciation support and gentle correction to help you make progress while still feeling comfortable.
Topics can be adapted to your interests, goals and everyday situations so that the language you practise feels useful and relevant to you.
ONE-TO-ONE
One-to-One Conversation Lessons
Individual lessons provide focused time to speak, ask questions and work on the areas that matter most to you. Sue can adapt the pace, topics and level of support to your confidence and goals.
This option is ideal for learners who prefer personal attention, want maximum speaking time or have specific areas they would like to improve.

SMALL GROUPS
Small Group Conversation Classes
Small groups give learners the opportunity to practise English with other people in a supportive environment. They can be particularly useful for developing confidence in real conversation, listening to different speakers and learning how to respond naturally.
Groups should remain small enough for every learner to have meaningful speaking time.
Small enough to speak.
Supportive enough to feel comfortable.

INTERNATIONAL / ASIAN LEARNERS
International Experience and Cultural Understanding
Sue has worked with learners and teachers in a range of international settings, including Japan, Brunei and Malaysia. Her experience teaching adult conversation in Japan gave her a particular appreciation for the confidence learners can need when moving from studying English to actually using it in everyday conversation
She welcomes learners from across Asia and around the world who would like a patient, supportive space to practise natural spoken English with a British teacher.
